TitleAnatomy Museum displays on 'Physical Anthropology', 'The Negroid Races' and Andrew Moir
Date1971
Extent3 files
DescriptionText and diagrams for new Anatomy Museum displays on 'Physical Anthropology' (display case e1) and 'The Negroid Races' (display case e2) compiled by Dr Hamilton. The first relates principally to anthropometry and describes skull and skeletal types held in the Museum; the second describes the languages, physical characteristics and geographical locations which define the principal indigenous African races. Dr Hamilton appears to have established a structure for the display of museum objects which had been held in storage prior to this time.

Biographical sketch of nineteenth century Aberdeen anatomy teacher and resurrectionist, Andrew Moir. Possibly a caption for a display.
