|Administrative History||Hamilton and his wife, Margaret W. Monro [pen - name 'Margot'], were both heavily involved in the Student's Representative Council [S.R.C.] when they were students at Aberdeen University. Hamilton entered the S.R.C. in 1932 and was responsible for convening Gala Week competitions, involved in reforming the Debating Society from 1933 and was a member of the S. R. C. Jubilee Celebrations Committee. Margaret was a member of the University's Women Students' Union.|
