Administrative History	S.S. 'Prince Albert' (also known as 'Prince Consort') (623 tons), built in 1857 by J. & G. Thompson, Glasgow; 223x25x14; iron paddler, engines of 300 HP. stranded in 1863 but refloated; sold in 1864 to Webster & Co., Aberdeen; wrecked at Altons, near Aberdeen on 11th May 1867.
Description	Minutes of general and committee meetings of the partners of the Aberdeen Leith and Clyde Shipping Company, including details of transfer of Company shares and annual reports submitted to the shareholders on the state of the Company's business for the past year. The minutes mention the charting of several steamers and minutes from 4 March 1857 refer to the new vessel 'Prince Albert'. Manuscript and signed by president or vice-president.
