Letter from the Edinburgh Sales Manager, T. & H. Smith, Limited, confirming that the Hyoscyamine Sulphate sent to Kosterlitz is Laevo - rotary Isomer Pure, 5 October 1955.

Letter, dated 6 April 1950, from Dr S. J. Folley, National Institute for Research in Dairying, Shinfield, Nr. Reading, informing Kosterlitz that he was elected an Ordinary Member of the Society for Endocrinology at the Annual General Meeting. Letter relates to the Society's annual subscription, encloses [not present] two handbooks and asks Kosterlitz to provide the Society with his information to be put into the next edition. Letter informs Kosterlitz that he was formally admitted to membership of the Journal of Endocrinology, Ltd. Includes a reply from Kosterlitz, dated 12 April 1950, thanking Folley for informing him about his election, provides appropriate details for the next edition of the handbook and says he would be glad to be a member of the Journal of Endocrinology Ltd.

Letter from Kosterlitz to Dr F L Warren, Department of Biochemistry, University College, London, enclosing [not present] a cheque for Kosterlitz's subscription for the Society of Endocrinology, 12 April 1950.

Letter from W. T. Williams, Honorary Botanical Secretary, Botany Department, Bedford College, London, informing Kosterlitz that at the last General Meeting, he was elected to Membership of the Society for Experimental Biology, 12 October 1950. Letter enclosed with a leaflet regarding annual subscription rates, a Banker's Order form [not present] and a copy of the current Annual Booklet.

Correspondence, dated March 1960 - Autumn 1966, with the Society for the Protection of Science and Learning Limited, London, informing Kosterlitz about a change made to the Society's constitution (to be incorporated as a Company limited by guarantee). Correspondence mentions Professor R. S. Hutton's (Honorary Treasurer of the Society) 85th birthday and the arrangements for an informal reception in his honour, to which Kosterlitz was invited. Also, a letter informing Kosterlitz about the Society's change of address, Autumn 1966. Restricted access: contains personal data.

Brief correspondence with Dr Gordon T. Stewart, Department of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Pembroke Place, Liverpool, regarding a note of a reference from Kosterlitz's unexpurgated edition of his paper dealing with 'residual blood in the liver and to what extent this interfered with gravimetric estimations of lipoids etc', January - October 1947. Correspondence makes mention of Kosterlitz's difficulty with 'the gentlement [sic] of the Journal' and mentions Kosterlitz's sending of some reprints to Stewart.

Letter from Dr H. B. Stoner, Department of Pathology, The University, Sheffield 10, thanking Kosterlitz for the reprint of his paper he sent Stoner and regarding the findings on the fall of blood sugar level and blood pressure in rat liver, June 1952. Includes a reply from Kosterlitz, dated 18 June 1952.

Correspondence, dated March - June 1956, with N. V. Swets & Zeitlinger, Booksellers, Keizersgracht 471, Amsterdam, regarding the selling of unwanted periodical volumes by Kosterlitz to Swets & Zeitlinger.
