Administrative HistoryGeorge Skene Keith, minister successively of Keith-Hall, Aberdeenshire, and Tulliallan, Perthshire, was a prolific writer on subjects such as agricultural property and methods, genealogy and the distillation of whisky. He also investigated the equalisation of weights and measures. His principal published work was 'A General View of the Agriculture of Aberdeenshire', (Aberdeen, 1811). He was awarded the degree of D.D. by Marischal College, Aberdeen, in May 1803.
