Administrative HistoryD.C. Macdonald appears to have been related to Ranald and Ranald R. Macdonald, agents for Cluny Estates. A lawyer in partnership with Scott in King Street, Aberdeen, he seems to have done a little work for the Estates Office. Samuel Milne was an engineer at the corporation gasworks, Aberdeen. He and Allen may have been clients of one of the agents.
