| Description | Much of this material was collected by Arthur Howell for his history of the family in the 1980s and 1990s - a large proportion of this material is photocopied. Other material was perhaps collected as evidence in the court cases Gordon v. Gordon. It includes entries of births and marriages, transcriptions from gravestones, photographs of graves and family properties, notes and accounts, and copies made from books mentioning family members or parishes connected with the family. Also some unpublished family histories. |
