Description | Ibn al-Wardi: 'Kharidat ut Ajaib'. or, 'Pearl of Marvels': a cosmographical work, containing a description of the remarkable countries, places and objects of the world, and ending with an account of the Creation and of the duration of the World, and a description of the Last Day. Largely published with a Latin translation as 'Fragmentum libri Margarita Memorabilium' by C. J. Tornberg (Upsala, 1835-39). Inscribed: Fred. Forbes. Bought at Dhunaviah in Marwar, 1836. |
