| Description | Typed memoir entitled "Remniscences of Sir W.R. Nicoll by the Rev. George Henderson , B.B., Monzie" [near Crieff, Perthshire]. Henderson first met Bicoll in 1873, when Nicoll was student missionary to the Free Church in Banchory; Henderson, a student at Aberdeen University, was spending his summer at a farm nearby. The memoir follows Henderson's friendship with Nicoll through the 1870s and to the period of his ministry in Kelso and his first marriage; it focuses primarily on Nicoll's church work.
The typescript is heavily marked up and amended, possibly for publication, and contains some manuscript sheets.
