DescriptionLetter from H. Donaldson saying how sorry he was that the Commander-in-Chief chose to stay at Battle instead of with the General. He is angry about the bad bargain that they had made over the accoutrements of the 46th which were not worth sending out to India. Congratulates the General on the assumption of the name of Fraser (in the Gazette of 13th August 1803). Comments on the salutes being fired in the Park to celebrate the capture of the island of Turtola which had surrendered without firing a shot. London.
