There are a number of vouchers for 1893, including bills for the following expenses:
i). Building new North Drive, 945 yards
ii). "Stuffing golden pheasant" 6s 6d.
iii). Furniture repairs in castle, £25 0s 2d.
iv). Repairing five-leaf Chinese screen £20 4s 8d.
v). 'Beautifully marked solid tortoiseshell casket mounted finely hand-carved and pierced solid gold monogram 'F.M.' and English Royal Princess's crown fitted in fine morocco velvet lined case, mounted fine gild monogram and crown to match - £14 15s.'
vi). "A 93-piece dinner service in china, richly coloured all over - £17 3s 3d'
vii). Detailed bill for dinner at Salon Romeli (??) given by Colonel Frederick Mackenzie Fraser - £11 13s.

[In this year Castle Fraser was let to Mr G. Caldwell, and a cottage to Lady Mays. The Frasers were in London at 6 Duchess Street from May 10th to July 5th, in Bad Homburg for August and at North Berwick from September 17th to October 16th]
