[Expenses of Frederick Fraser. He stayed in London from September 1854 to May 1855 at 91 Jermyn Street. He hired a piccolo pianoforte for the period from Chappell's, had his violin repaired and bought a new bow. He joined Blackheath Golf Club and bought clubs and balls. Spent large sums on uniforms, portable military luggage, etc. In the Ross-shire Rifles, he was promoted major from captain. He spent a week at Worthing. Bought copies of Queen's Regulations and Articles of War.] There are no factory accounts for this year
