DescriptionSaying that he was quartered in a large chateau with 5 companies of the regiment, on a dyke on the River Waal, overlooking the village of Druten, occupied by the French across the river. He gives reports of the progress of the wounded. He hears that the Duke of York has gone to England and that the command has been handed over during his absence to a Hanoverian General Walmorden.
