Letter by the Bishop to [blank] concerning the closure of the Bishop's chapel and that of Fraserburgh, due to the placement of Mr Sangster at Lonmay, albeit the people of Lonmay "can reap very little spiritual benefit from Mr Sangster's ministry, who we hear is scarce in safety to be seen amongst them". Asks the addressee to remove Sangster from Lonmay altogether, when they hope, by application to be able to re-open the chapel. 11 December 1770. |
