Starting at front of the volume: Copy of a subscription list, 1856, by members of the church at Meiklefolla for the purpose of "procuring a testimonial of their respect and esteem" for their clergyman, the Reverend Alexander Lesley, AM, to whom they presented (from the proceeds) a dog-cart and harness, an eight-day clock and a small balance in cash. Starting at reverse of same volume: Copies of correspondence and petitions relating to the ground of the manse and minutes of the managers of the congregation thereon, 1833 - 1844, incorporating a copy of a sketch-plan of the garden and manse, surveyed by Walker and Beattie, Aberdeen, October 1833. |
