DescriptionLetter from Amelia Nyasa Laws, Rome, to her relatives, enjoying the fact that it is her last Sunday in Rome, annoyed that Hale has brought her more accounts to add but refusing to do them, they will not be free until the train door is shut, she has been in Rome four months and not once had time to go to the American Church to play the organ, if the new minister is not as hard-working as Uncle the locals will have to do some work themselves for a change, visits from all kinds of people, parcels of linen and furnishings to be made up for disposal, customs arrangements, the British permit office did its paperwork in fifteen minutes but she lost patience at the French one after eight hours, went home and changed into uniform, returned and sailed through, with no payment to make, she will now travel in uniform, Maria came voluntarily today, but she too needs a rest.
