DescriptionLetter from Amelia Nyasa Laws to her parents, Robert and Maggie Laws, regarding Aunt Amy's obsession with Uncle's money, she will have to decide what is to be done with her boxes in Rome, they contain nothing of value, she will probably not write to them as she considers that Amelia does enough, Amelia is fed up with the way she and Aunt are treated just because they are women, trying to organise things in Rome with a view to what might be useful in Edinburgh as her parents may be returning home soon, urges them not to tell Aunt Amy, as Aunt Amy does not make provision for emergencies Amelia will save her legacy from Uncle, after Uncle Alec dies, for Amy's emergencies, death of Sara Paterson in Montreal of influenza, she was always consumptive.
