Letter from Sir Arthur Keith, Royal College of Surgeons of England, London, 30 November 1928: 'I am very much interested in what you tell me: I am sure you are into a paying field - if you can follow up the degeneration trails and functional disabilities of the brain. Your footprints record has never been made before as far as I know and is most important. In a week or two I should have copies of a lecture I gave on the evolution of the human foot ... I wish you would follow up this paper of mine with your work ...'
