DescriptionLetter from Charles Hunt, Curator of the Anthropological Museum (from 1979) to Lockhart, enclosing photographs of the Lockhart Room and commemorative plaque, 1 February 1983. The letter is heavily annotated by Lockhart and his executor, regarding their disappointment over Hunt's early failure to collaborate with Lockhart during his year as Honorary Curator, 1979 - 1980.

One black and white print showing miniature of Lockhart's portrait and bronze plaque, commemorating his contribution to the Museum and marking the opening of the Lockhart Room by Principal McNicol, 14 October 1985. Annotated by executor with notes regarding the purchase of 40 glass display cases for the Museum from Pollard and Co., ? London in 1947 and note regarding removal of Lockhart's and his Mother's portraits from the Lockhart Room, after it was re-organised as office space for the Museum Curator. The portraits were removed to Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society.

Two black and white prints of the Lockhart Room, showing seven display cases containing objects purchased for the Museum by Lockhart: three Lokapalas, Bactrian camel, Tibetan ladies' head dress, various Chinese bronzes and china. Annotated by executor with descriptions and provenance of items displayed. Note by Lockhart on original envelope (discarded): 'Pictures of Lockhart Room before my mother's portrait by Morocco was placed beside mine.'
