Administrative HistoryLockhart was chairman of the Friends of Glenburn Wing of Woodend Hospital, 1965 - 1983. He left the charity a a bequest from his estate, which was put towards upgrading two existing gardens at the front of the hospital wing. The gardens were re-opened as the 'Lockhart Memorial Gardens' on 31 May 1988.
