| Administrative History | On his retirement from the University of Aberdeen, Low was presented with a portrait etching by Malcolm Osborne and a cheque for over £540, subscribed by his students and friends, 26 April 1939. Lockhart gave a speech of thanks on behalf of the University, highlighting the affection in which he was held by staff and students alike, after nearly fifty years of service. |
