'Family correspondence' comprises a small collection of letters and postcards sent from Lockhart to his mother during trips away from home. Non-family' correspondence is an artificial file, formed of loose correspondence found amongst Lockhart's papers, which fit imperfectly with the principal series identified in arrangement of his papers. |
