Administrative History | 'Colour Garden', a 16 mm silent film of Lockhart's garden, is believed to have been made in the mid-late 1950s. The film was bequeathed to the British Universities Film and Video Council, along with Lockhart's other film material, but gifted to them (with full rights) to the Scottish Rhododendron Society in 1992. In 1997 it was returned to Miss Ann Philip, Aberdeen, who had two video copies made, by private arrangement with Grampian Television. The original film was not returned to Miss Philip and is presumed destroyed. |
