The Checklist titled 'The Aberdeen University Press Printed Archive 1840 - 1978: a checklist with introduction and commentary by DR HMR Watt, 1993' incorporates many notes on matters of bibliographic interest or regarding typographical or other physical features of the books. The comments were prepared by Harold Watt who also appended remarks, sometimes subjective in nature, intended to fill out the background to the conversion of an author's MS into book form. |
