Description | Letter from A. L. Bagley, 53 Park Road, Coventry, to A. R. G. Burn. He is sorry to hear he has had to move again, and thanks him for sending him his diary which he has read 'with much profit and interest'. He discusses the area described by Burn in his diary and enquires if he has heard anything more regarding his chances of joining the S. M. C. [Scottish Mountaineering Club]. He also asks for advice regarding the pronunciation of certain place names and enquires if he managed to reach the summit of Ben Nevis and if he plans to take another holiday during the summer; he notes that his own chances of going on holiday are 'reaching vanishing point' and comments on how the weather has been recently. |
