Minutes from the 1930s and 1940s have survived in a very piecemeal fashion, and complete (or nearly-complete) files only exist for 1945, 1946 and 1947. These files do, however, contain a good deal of information regarding war-time medical practice and the formation of the National Health Service, including some personal correspondence from Federation members to Mary Esselmont. For this reason, full details of the contents of incomplete files, and detailed summaries of the 1945 - 1947 files, have been given at each file-level catalogue entry. |
