'Lausanne': various notes on 'International Understanding', 'how to acquire knowledge', and club development, apparently taken at a Soroptimist meeting, n.d. (eight leaves);

'Nomination of Mr King, Peterhead': nine pages of notes, apparently taken at a Liberal Association meeting, 23 September 1964, referring briefly to 'interest in East Aberdeen-shire', followed by detailed notes on 'health and welfare', social security, pensions, schemes to unemployed, family provisions, supplementary benefits, simplification of whole scheme, institutional affairs, developing countries, Commonwealth, aid and development (nine leaves);

'Housing': six pages of notes on housing, focussing on post-war housing developments to 1963. Arranged under the following headings: 'home building programmes', 'action programmes' (slum clearance, home ownership); 'long term measures'; 'houses to let'; 'rent act'; 'tax land profiteers';

Draft letter from Mary Esslemont to the 'Press and Journal', regarding the importance of women's votes on polling day, n.d. (two leaves);

'Eve of Poll': note of activities on eve of polling day, reflecting upon main party manifestos and publicity, n.d. (four leaves);

'Municipal Election 1965: Lobbying address delivered at Mile End School, 27 April 1965 (seven leaves).
