Smithard, entitled 'Proper Housing: an implication of mothercraft teaching', reprinted from 'Mother and Child', 74 (April 1937); leaflet produced by the National Baby Week Council, lobbying public authorities to provide 'healthy and convenient homes' for 'the welfare of mothers and children', 1937s. A short memoranda carrying more housing statistics, 10 November 1945, is attached to the 16-page report.
