Also, a typed list of apologies from individuals unable to attend the civil ceremony, including David Steel, M.P., Lady Aberdeen, the Countess of Mar and Kellie, Sir Fraser and Lady Noble.

Manuscript notes prepared by Mary Esslemont for her address of thanks, 9 October 1981. Includes a list of official awards and positions that she has held.
