Administrative HistoryThe International Planned Parenthood Federation was formed in Bomby in 1952 from five national organisations in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Holland and India, in collaboration with representatives from other sympathetic organisations. Its primary aim was to advance family planning and responsible parenthood at a global level, in the interests of family welfare, community well-being and international good will.
