The benefits of home owner-ship are acknowledged, but rising cost of living makes this a less affordable option - the possibility of obtaining loans from councils, guaranteed by building societies is suggested as one solution. Also discusses eduction; health; street lighting; North East Development Committee; City amenities; Cleaning Department and litter bugs; planning for parking; buses and old people (high step up); and encouragement of athletics 'beyond rugby and soccer'
