This address was also given to a meeting of Women Liberals in Edinburgh, 29 January 1970.

Ten-page paper entitled 'Future of the N.H.S.' outlining Mary Esslemonts proposals for the future of the National Health Service in light of imminent reorganisation, stressing the need for parity between its component parts and the need for democracy at policy-making level.

Double-sided page entitled 'Health and Welfare', containing notes on health centres; attachment schemes; child welfare; the old and infirm (possibly notes from an Edinburgh delegate).
