DescriptionLetter from Alexander Jolly, Fraserburgh, to Dr Wilson, reflecting on the fact that Wilson is a friend of James Beattie and talking about the young man, whom Jolly discussed with Wilson the last time they saw each other. Jolly writes about the young man's studies and about his sending of the young man to College. Letter speculates that Beattie might be in a position to help the young man at College, and letter asks Wilson to get in touch with Beattie on the behalf of Jolly and the young man. Letter mentions that the young man has received some recommendations from a number of high - ranking people, including 'Drum'.
