DescriptionGlad there is going to be a new edition of Essay on Truth with three additional essays. Gordon has found it difficult to get his own book, 'An Inquiry into the Powers of Ecclesiastics' reviewed. Over twenty years ago he wrote an answer to Hume's essays on necessity and miracles, which he has put into a work of 200 pages. The periodical essays that have appeared under the name of Urbanus for some years would make two small volumes. Has been told a literary degree would be of some importance
