DescriptionRegrets not seeing Duchess in London. Beattie's health upset by London weather. Stayed a month from 4 June with Bishop of London at Fulham. Then to Mrs Montagu. Paid resepcts to their Majesties in Windsor on the way. Will probably go to Bath next week. Hopes to meet Wilberforce - Hannah More says he will be pleased to see Beattie. Honoured by conference with Pitt. Shocked by death of Mrs Baron Gordon.
