DescriptionAbout Mr Macintosh who led the orchestra in Aberdeen Musical Society. He has sometimes lost temper with orchestra, but has promised to be more circumspect. He has also given offence to John Smith, governor of musical society, for playing reels. Beattie no longer a member, but hopes Duchess will speak a word or two to Mr Dawney or another of the managers in Macintosh's favour.
