DescriptionArrived in London and he is now lodged in the apartment where Henry Laurens (1724-1792) a leading political figure in the American revolution, was confined before he was charged with treason. Letters to be directed to the house of Mr Scot, Middle Scotland Yard. Beattie called on Scott the quaker at Ware, author of the Moral Eclogues, and owner of fine little place and elegant grotto. He is about to pubblish a volume of very good poems.
