DescriptionWith Mrs Beattie in better health they were permitted a journey to Montrose, but in spite the journey taking two days, Mrs Beattie was overpowered by fatigue. She had to stay in bed for three days, developed a fever and violent symptoms. Now home, but her weakness is great and her spirits have suffered. Beattie not optimistic about her.
