Description
More on plans for Beattie's advancement. He has been too busy to answer Beattie's letter of 10 November. No need to explain opinion of Beattie's merit. Oughton is a friend of truth, virtue and religion. Kinnoull will give Archbishop a copy of Oughton's letter, though it contains no more than Archbishop new already. Proper for Beattie to let Oughton known his views
