| Description | College business difficult, as so few of them in town. Not possible till yeaterday to procure diploma Beattie requested. Degree of Doctor of Laws for Mr Rose agreed. Diploma in Physics for Thomas Morison. Grateful for notice Beattie has taken of Campbell's gospels to two bishops. Has not mentioned translation to anyone else - not even Robertson in Edinburgh.
