Description	Sorry to hear in Beattie's letter of 10 September that he has been so distressed. Hopes Beattie will think no more of the subject of his first two letters. Verses [presumably 'The Hermit'] having appeared with the two most excellent concluding stanzas remedies whatever might have been the effect of the first stanzas
