Description
Hurd, out of pure goodwill to Beattie, advises Mason to mention that he has heard a subscritpion has been sent on foot for new as well as old part of Minstrel. Belives this will be thought unworthy of Beattie's character, and progress should be stopped as soon as possible because it will be disgraceful to him. Apologizes for freedom. [Note by Beattie that he has answered: 'Hurd entirely misinformed'.]
