MSS. 2843/16/9-15 is a collection of letters from Lord Ferrier, Culter House, Biggar, Lanarkshire, to Taylor, with copies of replies and enclosures; these concern resolution on church union to be debated in the House of Lords and on which Ferrier is to speak and about which he requests and is given advice; notes are included on the Accession Declaration made by the Sovereign since 1689 and as altered in 1910 and copy of Hansard including account of the debate is to be sent by Ferrier, who was very grateful for assistance.
MSS. 2843/16/16-19 is a collection of correspondence with Lt. Col. Charles Reid, Prof. D.H. Mackinnon and Gervase Duffield, regarding current discussion of doctrine of Apostolic succession and interdenominational admission to Holy Communion. |
