| Custodial History | The papers were found in the rafters of a house in Ballater (Willowbank, Golf Road), Aberdeenshire, by its present owner, Mr. T. W. Henderson. Their presence there may be explained by the fact that the house was occupied at the beginning of the 20th century by a Mr. Riach, the local registrar. |
