| Description | Innes, A, meantime residing in Edinburgh. Two lengthy letters to his wife Sally, addressed to Rev George Morison, care of Mr George Innes, Aberdeen, ‘For Mrs I’. The writer, apparently in hiding in Edinburgh, had some connection with Crieff as well as Aberdeen and wife and children seem to be staying with Mr and Mrs Morison at Banchory Devenick. Plans are outlined for the departure of the whole family to France via London if this can be arranged. 18 and 23 Oct 1815. |
