Administrative HistoryCraignetherty farm is situated in the parish of Marnoch, Banffshire. James Rose Innes was the brother of Patrick Rose, sheriff clerk, Banff. Their father, William Rose (fl mid 18th-early 19th century), was factor to the 2nd Earl Fife, James Duff [see MS 3175: Duff House/Earls of Fife Papers].
