At Banff Sheriff Court on 5th October 1554 by Robert Stewart of "protestoun", Alex. Stewart in Towye and Andrew Stewart in "Quickmaddie", sheriff depute, inquest of barons, freeholders and others named was called to make a tax roll or valuation of lands of old extent as in inquest of the barons etc. held in Thomas Baird's Inn in Banff on 9 January 1552, at which these were returned.
