Renunciation of the Meadow of Connes by Thomas Hay, vicar of Rathven, endorsed with following summary in 19th century hand; "Unto the Right Honourable James Hay of Rannes undoubted proprietor of Connes, and of the meadow of Connes lying at the end of the Cornriggs of the bank of Connes, and that for good deeds done, especially for entering the said Thos. Hay, tenant to the half oxgate of Land of the Pleuch of Lonhead last occupied by "my (Thomas) Umqll. Mother Elspet Bennet". Thos.
