Duty of 40/4 annually payable. Numerous signatures, including those of George, Bishop of Moray and his dean and archdeacon. Appended are three seals. One appears to be that of the Bishop [entire], another [almost entire] not yet identified [a Douglas?] and a smaller one [2/3 entire] [a Stewart? according to William Douglas Simpson] not yet identified. ? Lyndesay, 7th and 15th March 1597. In Latin. Numerous endorsements not deciphered and referring to later dates.
