| Description | Letter from George Moir, Peterhead, to William Rose, Montcoffer. Reporting on conversation he had with Mr Brown at Longside regarding Moss Road from Gaval to the Moss of Longmuir. Apparently the proprietor of Gaval had had right to use the "Patent" road leading from Gaval to that moss but Mr Hay (father to Mrs Forbes) had had trouble with the family of Pitfour & a letter thereanent had been obtained. |
